I, along with the judicial courts know how important and valuable your time is and understand that jury service may be a considerable sacrifice that is made by you in order to participate as a juror.

Your jury summons puts you in the center of this most basic right of all Americans. The United States and the State of Texas Constitution guarantees a right to trial by jury for anyone accused of a crime, regardless of his or her race, religion, gender, national origin or economic status. Any time the facts of a civil or criminal case are in dispute, the parties have a right to have their case heard by a jury of fair and impartial citizens who will make decisions without bias or prejudice.

Jury service is a high duty of citizenship. Jurors aid in the maintenance of law and order and uphold justice among their fellow citizens. The greatest reward is the knowledge that you have discharged this duty faithfully, honorably, and well.

If you received a jury summons to report to jury duty service, please complete the questionnaire online or mail in your completed questionnaire in the enclosed envelope. Jury trials have resumed and your participation in the administration of justice is very important.

If you have any questions regarding your JURY SERVICE, please call (915)546-2021 ext 5306/4349 or email us at districtclerk@epcounty.com or Victor Ramirez, Jury Duty Bailiff at 915-546-8102 or at juryinfo@epcounty.com.

Due to the nature and security of your information, please keep in mind that you have 40 minutes to complete and submit your online juror questionnaire before the session times out.
